One winter morning in Milan, an exhibition of classic cars was showing in Milan's main piazza. I later learnt that this display was part of the Milano-Sanremo Cup revival - a prestigious competitive road race between the two italian cities. The Milan-Sanremo cup began in 1906 . Started again in 1929 , was interrupted by the Second World War, then finished completely in 1973. The revival of the race commenced in 2002, and allowed onlookers to spend a few hours marveling at the vintage cars before they passed through Milan for the first leg of the journey.
